Gensan Library’s New Look

My recent visit to General Santos City Library amazed me because of its new look. The ongoing renovation of the Library implies that GenSan is booming as a city in the Philippines.
  
                                                                                                                                                                                                           

According to Amante Barnechea, the Officer in Charge of the City Library, the renovation was funded by Sen. Manny Villiar (2M) and the Local Government of Generl Santos City (1.5 M). If the City Library will completely renovated, “it will give satisfaction in terms of services and opportunities to the constituents of General Santos City”, he added.


The modern interior of the Library makes you motivate to study and research. Barnechea also said that they will install CCTV Cameras, put up Audio Visual Room and Conference Room for better services. They are targeting to finish the renovation before November 2012.

      I think within this year..they are targeting to finish it before Nov 2012. They are still requesting for additional budget to the LGU (Gensan).

    Library now is open 8am to 5pm NO Noon Break....
